Rates

At Dental Health Westblaak, we believe it’s important for you to know exactly what to expect beforehand. That’s why we offer transparent pricing and always clearly explain which treatment is right for your situation.

Dental care rates are set annually by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) and apply to all dental practices in the Netherlands. The current rates for 2026 are listed in the official rate booklet.

How are our rates structured?

Each treatment has a corresponding service code with a fixed fee. Depending on your situation, a treatment may consist of a single service or a combination of several services. Prior to a more extensive treatment, we will discuss the following with you if desired:

  • what treatment is being performed;

  • which performance codes correspond to them;

  • what the costs are;

  • whether any additional costs are expected;

That way, you'll know exactly where you stand and won't be caught off guard.

Reimbursements and insurance

Whether a treatment is (partially) covered depends on your (supplemental) dental insurance. We recommend that you check your policy in advance. Of course, we’re also happy to explain which services are billed and why.

Invoices

Dental Health Westblaak works with Infomedics to process invoices. This means that you will receive the invoice from Infomedics and will not pay it directly to us.

Infomedics provides clear and easy-to-read invoices, the option to pay online, and an overview of outstanding and paid invoices, as well as payment plans.

Do you have questions about an invoice or payment? If so, please contact Infomedics directly. If necessary, please contact our practice so we can assist you.

Quotation for extensive treatments

For larger or more complex treatments, we can provide a cost estimate or budget in advance, if desired. This will give you a clear picture of the total costs.
